Michael Fishman about The Conners : “We want to continue a legacy.”[ Exclusive Video]

The Conners debuted on October 16^th on ABC with 10.46 million viewers at the second place right after NCIS (11.68 millions of viewers) and way ahead of This is US. Almost six months after the revival Roseanne got canceled, the spinoff did as good as it gets. On her part Roseanne Barr who’s character was killed off on the premiere episode by an opioid overdose, reacted pretty strongly by tweeting: “I AIN”T DEAD, BITCHES”.

Michael Fishman and Maya Lynne Robinson who play husband and wife on The Conners shared with us their hope for the show. “We have the opportunity to continue a legacy that we are proud of. And the beauty is that we have new cast members and new characters that are going to bring a new energy. So it’s going to be new exciting situations.”

La série The Conners a fait ses débuts le 16 octobre sur ABC avec 10,46 millions de téléspectateurs à la deuxième place juste après NCIS (11,68 millions de téléspectateurs) et loin devant This is US. Près de six mois après l’annulation du revival de Roseanne, l’audience a donc été aussi bonne que possible.

De son côté, Roseanne Barr, dont le personnage a été tué lors du premier épisode par un surdosage d’opioïdes, a réagi assez vivement en tweetant: «I AIN» T DEAD, BITCHES ».

Michael Fishman et Maya Lynne Robinson, qui jouent mari et femme dans The Conners, ont partagé avec nous leurs attentes au sujet de cette nouvelle  série. «Nous avons l’opportunité de continuer un héritage dont nous sommes fiers. Et la beauté de cette série,  est que nous avons de nouveaux acteurs dans la distribution et de nouveaux personnages qui vont apporter une nouvelle énergie. Donc, ça va être de nouvelles situations intéressantes.”
